Respond With Love

I struggle sometimes…ok, ok, not sometimes but often… Very often… With what exactly is right and what is wrong.

I know the Bible teaches love but it also says certain things are wrong. Society keeps telling me if I say those things are wrong, then I’m filled with hate. But the we Bible says do not do certain things and to hold other believers accountable…

I keep thinking about this.

First, I believe the Bible doesn’t ask us to judge non-believers ever. If someone is a non-believers they are held to a different standard. We need to treat, non-believers with love not condemnation. You can talk to them about your belief and why but don’t condemn them or force your opinion on them.

Second, Christians are to be held accountable to God’s word. But make sure you are walking His path before addressing another’s sin. Then address the sin with love, it is ok to condemn ongoing unrepentant sin from a fellow believer. Any conversation about an ongoing sin should be in love, with kindness, after serious heartfelt prayer. If they stop the sin, make sure you never bring it up again.

No sin is worse than any other sin. But no sin should be accepted or tolerated within the body of Christ.

The hot issues.

No your god is not my God. I read about the other gods that are popular an know they aren’t even close to my God. You maybe very nice and kind. I can respect our differences and treat you with respect but I won’t say the god of the Mormans, Muslims, Wiccan, Spiritualist are my God. They pale in comparison in my opinion.

I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and unless you believe that we don’t have the same religion. I believe the only path to heaven is through Jesus Christ.

The Jewish God us the same God, they just missed the incredible saving Grace of the Son. I know He came and we live my Grace. The Jews are still watching and waiting living by the law.

Now, I’m not saying they aren’t good people or honest. I definitely believe anyone who doesn’t believe as I do should be treated with absolute kindness and complete respect. I also believe they are missing out on a wonderful forgiving, kind, personal God that is real, I believe this is sad. So I believe I need to be even nicer/kinder to make up for the love they lack from thier god.

I believe there is one prerequisite for my faith that is the belief and acceptance of Jesus Christ, the risen Lord, as Savior in your life. Then you enter into a incredible, personal relationship with God.

After entering into a relationship with God you should desire to live out His words, comandments, and use your actions and words as a constant witness. So no matter the religion or lack of religion we should as Christians treat everyone with loving kindness and respect.

Jesus was extremely clear about the role of sex. Sex should be between a man and his wife only after marriage. He said if you can’t handle that, then be celebait. He didn’t say, well if you really love your boyfriend then it’s ok. He didn’t say if you are attracted prepubescent children, go with your heart. Jesus didn’t say if your wife is a bitch cheat on her or if your husband forgets you exist, then have an affair. Jesus didn’t say if you love the same sex it’s ok to disobey.

Jesus said if you want to have sex, marry one person of the opposite sex and then only have sex with that person. The only other option God gave was celibacy.

So if you’re engaged sleeping with your fiancée it’s sin. If you are married and having an affair sin. If you divorced sin. If you are in an actively sexual same sex relationship the same exact sin. The church should not accept any of these sin but they should love the people who are in the church commuting the sins.

Pray about the sins, then talk to the sinner, with love and kindness, so they turn away from the sin. None of those sins are unforgivable, repent stop the sin and God forgives.

As a Christian you know it’s God’s body not yours. You know God knows you, named you in the womb. As a Christian we know every life is sacred. Abortion is not a choice. Should not be a choice. Your life is not more important than another life, God chose you to be an incubator, trust Him through the process.

If you did get an abortion, God will forgive. He can’t take away the pain or fill the hole aborting an unborn baby left behind. But He can help ease the pain with love and forgiveness. He can renew life with the joy that only comes from Him.

It’s the churches responsibility, not the governments to feed the hungry and care for the helpless and the homeless, the orphans and the widows, the sick and the disabled. I hear people complain about the way Christian pollute government but I look at our serving Government and praise God it’s built on Christian values.

Sincerely with

Humility Grace Mercy

Galatians 1:15-16 NASB
[15] But when God, who had set me apart even from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, was pleased [16] to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with flesh and blood,

Luke 1:14-16 NASB
[14] You will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth. [15] For he will be great in the sight of the Lord; and he will drink no wine or liquor, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit while yet in his mother’s womb. [16] And he will turn many of the sons of Israel back to the Lord their God.

Psalm 22:8-10 NASB
[8] “Commit yourself to the LORD; let Him deliver him; Let Him rescue him, because He delights in him.” [9] Yet You are He who brought me forth from the womb; You made me trust when upon my mother’s breasts. [10] Upon You I was cast from birth; You have been my God from my mother’s womb.

Luke 12:7-12 NASB
[7] Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows. [8] “And I say to you, everyone who confesses Me before men, the Son of Man will confess him also before the angels of God; [9] but he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God. [10] And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him. [11] When they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not worry about how or what you are to speak in your defense, or what you are to say; [12] for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”IMG_0947

Matthew 10:29-31 NASB
[29] Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. [30] But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. [31] So do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.

Judges 16:17 NASB
[17] So he told her all that was in his heart and said to her, “A razor has never come on my head, for I have been a Nazirite to God from my mother’s womb. If I am shaved, then my strength will leave me and I will become weak and be like any other man.”

Matthew 19:4-12 NASB
[4] And He answered and said, “Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE, [5] and said, ‘For THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE, AND the TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH’? [6] So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.” [7] They said to Him, “Why then did Moses command to GIVE HER A CERTIFICATE OF DIVORCE AND SEND her AWAY?” [8] He said to them, “Because of your hardness of heart Moses permitted you to divorce your wives; but from the beginning it has not been this way. [9] And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.” [10] The disciples said to Him, “If the relationship of the man with his wife is like this, it is better not to marry.” [11] But He said to them, “Not all men can accept this statement, but only those to whom it has been given. [12] For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother’s womb; and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are also eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. He who is able to accept this, let him accept it.”

John 14:6-7 NASB
[6] Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. [7] If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.”

Luke 20:41-47 NASB
[41] Then He said to them, “How is it that they say the Christ is David’s son? [42] For David himself says in the book of Psalms, ‘The LORD SAID TO MY LORD, “SIT AT MY RIGHT HAND, [43] Until I MAKE YOUR ENEMIES A FOOTSTOOL FOR YOUR FEET.”‘ [44] Therefore David calls Him ‘Lord,’ and how is He his son?” [45] And while all the people were listening, He said to the disciples, [46] “Beware of the scribes, who like to walk around in long robes, and love respectful greetings in the market places, and chief seats in the synagogues and places of honor at banquets, [47] who devour widows’ houses, and for appearance’s sake offer long prayers. These will receive greater condemnation.”

Galatians 1:1-24 NASB
[1] Paul, an apostle (not sent from men nor through the agency of man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead), [2] and all the brethren who are with me, To the churches of Galatia: [3] Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, [4] who gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, [5] to whom be the glory forevermore. Amen. [6] I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; [7] which is really not another; only there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. [8] But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed! [9] As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be accursed! [10] For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ. [11] For I would have you know, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. [12] For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ. [13] For you have heard of my former manner of life in Judaism, how I used to persecute the church of God beyond measure and tried to destroy it; [14] and I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries among my countrymen, being more extremely zealous for my ancestral traditions. [15] But when God, who had set me apart even from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, was pleased [16] to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with flesh and blood, [17] nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went away to Arabia, and returned once more to Damascus. [18] Then three years later I went up to Jerusalem to become acquainted with Cephas, and stayed with him fifteen days. [19] But I did not see any other of the apostles except James, the Lord’s brother. [20] (Now in what I am writing to you, I assure you before God that I am not lying.) [21] Then I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia. [22] I was still unknown by sight to the churches of Judea which were in Christ; [23] but only, they kept hearing, “He who once persecuted us is now preaching the faith which he once tried to destroy.” [24] And they were glorifying God because of me.

Romans 6:1-23 NASB
[1] What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? [2] May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it? [3] Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? [4] Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. [5] For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, [6] knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; [7] for he who has died is freed from sin. [8] Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, [9] knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him. [10] For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. [11] Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. [12] Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts, [13] and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. [14] For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace. [15] What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? May it never be! [16] Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness? [17] But thanks be to God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were committed, [18] and having been freed from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. [19] I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness, resulting in further lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness, resulting in sanctification. [20] For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. [21] Therefore what benefit were you then deriving from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the outcome of those things is death. [22] But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life. [23] For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 Thessalonians 4:1-18 NASB
[1] Finally then, brethren, we request and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us instruction as to how you ought to walk and please God (just as you actually do walk), that you excel still more. [2] For you know what commandments we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus. [3] For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality; [4] that each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, [5] not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God; [6] and that no man transgress and defraud his brother in the matter because the Lord is the avenger in all these things, just as we also told you before and solemnly warned you. [7] For God has not called us for the purpose of impurity, but in sanctification. [8] So, he who rejects this is not rejecting man but the God who gives His Holy Spirit to you. [9] Now as to the love of the brethren, you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another; [10] for indeed you do practice it toward all the brethren who are in all Macedonia. But we urge you, brethren, to excel still more, [11] and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life and attend to your own business and work with your hands, just as we commanded you, [12] so that you will behave properly toward outsiders and not be in any need. [13] But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. [14] For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. [15] For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. [16] For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. [17] Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. [18] Therefore comfort one another with these words.

1 John 4:7-21 NASB
[7] Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. [8] The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. [9] By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. [10] In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. [11] Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. [12] No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us. [13] By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. [14] We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. [15] Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. [16] We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. [17] By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world. [18] There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love. [19] We love, because He first loved us. [20] If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. [21] And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should love his brother also.

Matthew 5:27-37 NASB
[27] “You have heard that it was said, ‘You SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY’; [28] but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. [29] If your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. [30] If your right hand makes you stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to go into hell. [31] “It was said, ‘Whoever SENDS HIS WIFE AWAY, LET HIM GIVE HER A CERTIFICATE OF DIVORCE’; [32] but I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except for the reason of unchastity, makes her commit adultery; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery. [33] “Again, you have heard that the ancients were told, ‘You SHALL NOT MAKE FALSE VOWS, BUT SHALL FULFILL YOUR VOWS TO THE LORD.’ [34] But I say to you, make no oath at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, [35] or by the earth, for it is the footstool of His feet, or by Jerusalem, for it is the CITY OF THE GREAT KING. [36] Nor shall you make an oath by your head, for you cannot make one hair white or black. [37] But let your statement be, ‘Yes, yes’ or ‘No, no’; anything beyond these is of evil.
